Wonderful Grounds and Excellent Staff

The staff were AMAZING and helpful. They were always willing to assist with anything. The grounds are kept clean and are beautiful. The hotel provided a genuinely pleasurable stay. The exterior of the building and the clean room were also lovely.
The room LACKED air conditioning. This made it a bit warm at times. I think proper ventilation is a must.

Dinner at the Bridge Restaurant was EXEMPLARY, with high-standard food. Wines and service were really good. Pedro, our server, provided excellent food and wine recommendations. Gluten-free options were also readily available.

i found the staff helpful and friendly. the hotel and its grounds were beautiful it was easy to take a walk around with my dog as there are excellent walks right on the doorstep. the sports facilities impressed me too the swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub, and steam room were all well kept.
i noticed only one vegetarian option for dinner it was just a very minor thing during an otherwise amazing stay

the sports facilities include a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a hot tub and a steam room it seems all are well maintained. i saw many guests walking around the gardens there were well signposted routes. there's also a spa to relax in.

my room was tastefully decorated and comfortable it contained everything i needed. the toiletries were of a high standard. the bed had high quality linen and it felt comfortable after a long day exploring the area.

the hotel grounds offer peaceful walks. i found the location very quiet far away from any main roads. it was easy to access local walks as the hotel is close to several footpaths through the countryside.

i found dinner excellent and the food was presented beautifully. each course was delicious and the breakfast was equally great. the restaurant atmosphere made for a great evening with friends and family.

all of the staff that i met were friendly and professional i felt they were very helpful. the team were particularly attentive in the restaurant. they provided fast and friendly service throughout the hotel.

Olivia was fantastic even before we arrived. She called to check our requirements and preferences. she arranged dinner and prepared a sweet "happy anniversary" plate for our room. she also ensured everything was ready for our baby and made dinner reservations, accounting for special dietary requests. after arrival, she remained attentive and cute. the grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and parking was plentiful and easy.

The pool features a pleasant temperature allowing for easy entry. The gym is well equipped ensuring a comprehensive workout. the grounds offer beautiful walking areas and are well maintained. plentiful easy parking is available .

The breakfast arrangements were excellent. They were notably better than many country hotels i have visited. the quality of the continental buffet was good. the hot menu also offered really good choices. a superb sunday lunch is available at an excellent price.

The staff go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect and that guests feel very welcome. emma's service was fantastic. She showed us around and had a huge knowledge of the building. pedro and mo provided out of this world service. the service was fantastic!

the location is very beautiful and the grounds are well cared for. the area is perfect for anybody looking for a very british experience. the location offers calm surroundings and a historic atmosphere. this place is a haven of peace!

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was very nice and provided good amenities. it was a pleasant surprise that the room was air conditioned. the rooms are good. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. the tea and coffee selection is amazing.

the staff was attentive. they provided excellent service throughout my visit. the gym was reasonably well equipped for strength training. i found it easy to maintain my fitness routine . the gardens were very well maintained. i especially liked strolling around the grounds..
the bar seemed overpriced. i did notice this compared to other establishments. the pillows felt too soft for my preference. i found it difficult to get comfortable. the spa was outside the main building. the walk on gravel in slippers wasn't ideal.
